About Passion d'ici
Represent, promote and distribute exclusively and proudly Quebec agri-food products in the respect and mutual trust developed with our producers, our customers and our employees.
Our daily actions and decisions are based on integrity, transparency and honesty. We build relationships based on mutual trust with our partners. They are at the heart of our concerns.
We have been committed in local purchasing since 2008. We are united and proud to support and promote local producers’ work by introducing their products to our customers and to the entire Quebec population with a sustainable development perspective.
We keep our commitments. We are driven daily by a sense of responsibility. We believe that rigor and efficiency in our work lead to satisfaction of a job well-done.
Passion d'ici is a family business on a humane scale. We believe in the strength of teamwork, mutual aid and the pleasure of working together to meet daily challenges.
Together, let's contribute to the development of local products!
This food distribution adventure began in 2008 with caramels from La Chocolaterie du Vieux-Beloeil. At that time, Paul Samson had obtained a consultancy mandate which consisted of supporting a dozen producers in the marketing of their products into grocery stores. Caramels from La Chocolaterie du Vieux-Beloeil stole the show. This project highlighted the lack of representation and distribution in Quebec for small producers.
We seized the opportunity, built a warehouse and launched Passion d'ici. Today, the company represents and distributes the products of approximately twenty producers in more than 1000 points of sale in Quebec. All the province's regions are visited by the company's representatives on a regular basis.
